- Some are free of charge, others are pay and display.
- Some villages operate with a blue disc parking system.
- Payment is possible via the PayByPhone and Flowbird apps (available in La Flotte, Sainte-Marie-de-Ré and Saint-Martin-de-Ré).
- People with reduced mobility may park free of charge and without any time limit.
Important rules to bear in mind
- Motorhome parking outside designated areas is prohibited between 11 pm and 6 am.
- Motorhome areas have a limited number of spaces and a restricted length of stay.
- Some motorhome areas offer water and electric hook-up points at £2–3.
- Illegal parking near beaches is increasingly being monitored and enforced in 2026.
